When I saw that video of Diddy putting a shoe on Cassie, I was as in favor of his imprisonment as anyone.

I hate to see a woman of any race physically assaulted—though I realize that black women are more impervious to physical (but not emotional) pain than other races of women.

That doesn’t mean you should hit them, or toss them around like a rag doll like my boo Caitlin Clark did Angel Reese. I’m just saying.

I’m not sure what race Cassie belongs to, but it’s obvious from that video that she lacks the sense to even try to defend herself. If that was truly a regular occurrence, you’d think she would have come up with some sort of strategy to defend herself. Diddy’s lawyers might want to point that out.

I’m less convinced that Diddy deserves to rot in prison, now that the trial has begun. Could it be that, as Lil Boosie has suggested on X f/k/a Twitter, Cassie was a willing participant in all manner of gross sexual behavior, and that she and her husband are trying to rob Diddy?
